The triple-camera system on the rear of the XPERIA 1 V retains the Exmor RS for mobile 16mm ultra-wide and adjustable 85-125mm telephoto 12MP lenses. The wide-angle 24mm is back, but with a significant upgrade to an Exmor T for mobile, which incorporates a stacked, 2-layer structure that lets more light in for much better low-light results. This is in addition to an improved 48MP (effective), 120 fps, autofocus, and OIS. As a system, other improvements include AF/AE tracking burst, but now up to 30 fps and with bokeh. • NT: Lower saturation and sharpness in a subdued tone
• VV: Highly clear images with bright, vibrant colors
• FL: Moody look by applying sharp contrast to calm coloring
• IN: Reduces contrast and saturation for a matte look
• SH: Create a bright atmosphere with transparency, softness, and vibrancy

Incorporating S-Cinetone for mobile, Sony gives you the ability to capture cinema-like video with accurate skin tone representation. It also provides three times the amount of saturation signal level compared to standard sensors, and noise is reduced in dark areas while creating soft colors.

A trio of AI processing advancements have been added to the Sony XPERIA 1 V to more accurately capture the subjects you shoot and record.

• AI Depth: Clear autofocus even on subjects in the distance using a depth map
• AI White Balance: Accurate white balance in multiple light sources
• AI Exposure: Accurate brightness in almost any environment

Vloggers will enjoy the new Product Showcase and Voice Priority microphone of the XPERIA 1 V. Presenting a product to the camera in a review or unboxing can usually lead to you holding your hand behind it to gain focus on the object. Product Showcase now automatically detects the object and focuses on it, making your videos look more natural and professional. Voice Priority does something similar with audio, focusing on the subject speaking in front of the camera, minimizing the pickup of ambient sounds.
